So i want to build onto a gibson es 335's body, but i want a really nice thin fret soft v neck that would compliment the bluesy sound of the es while still having enough give to bend notes. any suggestions?
i'm frankensteining it from scratch, my friend built a guitar last year and he's helping me with this one so as soon as we find a good set neck we can go about glueing it onto the body. so i guess that adds another dimension to my problem, it has to be compatible with the es's body. but if anyone knows of a good quality copy version of the es body that would save a lot of money.
