What kind/brand of pickups are you going to choose? Have you decided yet?

Here is the first coat of Desert Sand; known forever on this bass as Tralala Sand.  The color of the pegboard is effecting how it looks in the picture.  In real life it is more beige.  I’m going to let it hang until Monday and level sand it.  After that I’ll put a wash coat of the color on to get it to flow and level better. After I shoot clear we’ll get it put together and take pictures with a different background so you get a better idea of the true color.

As for the pick up question I am going to run Nordstrand nj4 or nj4sv still not sure whether I want the noise canceling or not. As for the other electronics I am going to run a volume/blend/tone/jack pot setup with a paper in oil cap.

As for the relic it will be all me so you will have to wait some years for the relic.    Josh

Here it is bolted together and ready to go off to the master fret level and set up guy.
I love the way this thing turned out. I think I’ll keep it and give Josh the P-Bass instead.
