Love the guys at Suhr - very quick to whip up a diagram if you ask.  This is standard 5-way, but position 3 will split the bridge and add in the neck SC for some tele tones.

cool, thanks for sharing that configuration.  I just finished doing a too complicated setup with a super switch and push/pull volume.  Trying to keep the pickup paths clear in my cranium was painful.

Hah, I bet.  I've still gotta figure out how to incorp a push pull coil split for the bridge.  It's just figuring out where to inert the switch and on which conductor.

Coil cuts are pretty simple if all 4 wires are brought out. You just ground the center connection of the pickup. That has the effect of eliminating the coil that's already tied to ground.

When the switch is open, it's a humbucker. Closed, it's a single coil.

^Thank you - I get that, but need to figure out which coil is which on the Bare Knuckles I have  :toothy11:

Oh, ok. Can't help you there. Some manufacturers are more forthcoming about documentation than others. Wait'll you have to wire up some Bill Lawrence parts.

I'll post up once they respond - they are usually quick!

Yeah, I hear BLs are nightmares if you get 'em second hand haha.

They don't come with anything when they're new, either. There are some old pencil sketches of Bill's on the site, but they leave a bit to be desired.

By the way, the only reason I had that was because that nasty wiring job I complained about earlier in this thread was HSH Bareknuckles.  And the wiring diagram I had was done off of a combination of Dimarzio and SD PUPs.  I'm getting a headache again just remembering .....  :toothy12:

^That's the boat I'm rowing right now!  Well, I'll be rowing once I get my body back from W.
