Okay.  So i've been slaving over this for about a month now.
I started out with a 3 x 5 sheet of 1/2 inch Fir, a tube of PL 400 and a blister pack of screws.  I just got the velcro today and put it all together.

I didn't document the whole thing... I actually only started taking pictures once i had build the structure of the board.  But.. here it is.

In that last one the big block in the middle is my Wireless.  Its not all filled out quite yet because I have to figure out a way to get the velcro to work on the wah pedals.  I"ll probably get short screws to hold the baseplate on and take the rubber feet off.  and my Phase-Wah isn't ready yet,  Its a little DIY contraption i'm working on.  I also plan to upgrade the GT 5 to a GT 10, the board is big enough to accomodate. (i hope)  and i'll likely drop a couple of the stomboxes (the phaser since its the donor for my phase wah) and buy the Boss Twin Rotary pedal.

Hey VA, just a thought on the WAH pedals, what I have done is cut some thin sheets of ply-wood in the shape of the bottom of my WAH pedals, minus where the rubber feet go.  I then applied velcro to both sides, and I velcro the pedal to the sheet of wood, then the wood to the board.

that'd have to be pretty thin eh?

I like the idea of just taking the feet off because they're already a half inch higher than usual and with the case im going to get for this thing it'll be even higher.. so the lower i can get the  wah pedals the better I think.  plus that way they dont stick up to farr above the second teir.

anybody know where you can get little rubber pads?

My GT 5 is actually the most solidly fastened thing on there.  its just got 6 little 1 1/2 strips of velcro on the rectangular rubber pads it uses as feet.  but my head master only has little round ones and putting a little square of velcro on them holds it in place while i use it at least but it doesn't hold it very well especially in transport.  some little rubber pads maybe  1/8 inch thick somewhere around 1- 1.5 square inches would be perfect.  then i can put them on the footswitch and then the velcro on them.

That is pretty sexy, dude.  I like it a lot.  You can probably get rubber feet at Radio Shack.

the back right foot of my crybaby went walkabout at a gig  :tard: which made it REAL hard to rock properly (see: retarded wah pedal)

i came across the same problem (velcro issues on the wah) when building my pedal board recently (a much lower-tech pedalboard than yours btw [the bottom grip is an old welcome mat from my parents front door  :headbang1:]), and i found the best way was to: peel off the rubber feet whilst still screwed onto the baseplate, then turn the screws in as far as they can go (without stripping them of course), and then there is enough room for the velcro to get heaps of grip. and i only use two small pieces of 2cm x 2cm velcro on the bottom of the wah and it works a treat  :hello2:

oh yeah, KICKASS pedal board  :party07:

how would tearing the rubber feet off help more than taking them off completely?
I think my problem is that the screws are too long and they wont go in far enough to give the velcro room to grip.

do the screws that come with it screw in all the way?

Got the shorter screws. kind of stumbled into them.  work great. i'm quite pleased :)

now all i need is rubber pads for my head master and i'm set.
