My Mary Kaye Custom is Finished!

So I finished her up this weekend, just in time to play a gig on Sunday.  Sweet!  I love the feel of this canary neck.  The tone is amazing.  Very happy with my first build.  I have to say that for the $ spent, there's no way I could come close to this quality in a guitar from a shop somewhere.  I decided to write about this build on my blog over at http://22frets.com.  I will get some clips up soon so you can hear it.  Best strat I've ever played!

definitely! i've never really been a huge fan of mary kay or other semi-transparent finishes, but this is one i'd love to own. awesome!

Thanks, very very happy with this first build.  I cannot believe how good this guitar is...I mean, it would be outta my price range to buy something this nice stock.  Warmoth is like the best kept secret around!

I understand many don't dig tortoise, and that's cool.  I just feel it works on this guitar.

I finally got around to recording it so you guys could hear it.  I'm thrilled with this thing.  Thanks again for all the help & support on my first build.  My next will probably be a Telecaster, but it will be a while.
