My first time spraying a guitar

here's the strat I did. I think it turned out pretty well. *Progress in comments.

This after spraying the red, and later adding six coats of slightly ambered clear. I'm pretty happy with it.

I used a homeright super finish max sprayer, with the small blue tip, mohawk finishers choice gloss lacquer, and lacquer thinner. Transtint dyes for color, and blush retarder to spot treat any blush. Luckily I only had it blush the last day I was spraying the clear. It cleared right up. I'm going to try and finish sand and buff this weekend.
 
I'm kinda going for a 62-64 Fender Stratocaster 3 tone sunburst. I did a little aging to the hardware.

The neck is on it's way. I just need to do the decal, install the tuners & nut, and this bad early 60's looking strat is done. 😎

I'm one step closer to a guitar. The neck arrived just after noon today.  :turtle:  :bass:
