My first Neck

I got my first neck into today  an all-parts TRO-Fat neck. I want to do the fret dressing and finish myself. I was just wondering if anyone can give me instructions on the fret dressing and like what kind of tools I would need. Also if I'm going for a satin finish, as raw as possible for a maple neck, would tung oil give me that kind of feel?

not sure if you'll be filing the nut also (but with the fretwork i'd assume you were). i bought the 8 file set from warmoth, read a couple "how to" pages, and went to work. couldn't have been much easier! i definitely recommend that set. as for fret work? i don't have any experience  :-\  sorry
