Today I went to a local collector's meet at an arena, and found a couple things that I'm quite happy with.

- An old Minolta XG-1 camera, in perfect working condition
- A hand made knife (not sure of the steel used or the wood, but it's beautiful, and has a nice leather sheath)
- A 1942 Canadian gas mask, with it's original filter, in amazing condition. None of the rubber is dried out, and the lenses are clear. I thought about turning it into a Sid Wilson mask, but the history behind this is too awesome to rip off the filter. I'll get a cheap reproduction to make my mask...

I don't kniw if it's just my iPhone, but all the images appear to have attached upside down... Sorry about that!

Hahaha, yeah sometimes my phone posts pictures upside down and I can't figure out why..

I've had this happen too. Not just with photos either, we did some video at a gig not too long ago using an iPhone and when we pushed it to YouTube, the whole thing was upside down.  WTF?? Fortunately there are tools that'll fix it.

Re upside down pics / vids : you may have held the camera in such a way that the lens was "on the bottom," hence the upsidedownness of your stuff.

Happened to me!

I made sure it wasn't, and it still happened. Haha. I even re took the pictures and attached them, and it was still upside down. Oh well  :toothy12:

Nice!  I still have mine from the late 1980s with a couple lenses, filters, and a flash.
Nice! My uncle is a huge collector of aanything antique or vintage, and sells stuff. He has close to 300 cameras at any given time from the early 1900's to the 90's.
He also faithfully restores things like gramophones and furnature. He's such an amazing woodworker.
