So I've had this guitar for awhile but I didn't finish assembling it until like May... then I changed the bridge, soldered it up, and had the nut cut not until end of August.  It's finally finished!

I thought I posted pics of it already though but I guess not!  What yall think?

This is actually my first Warmoth build.  It features a Warmoth finish.  My current in-progress build is finished by me but that's a different story.  Btw, I couldn't decide what pics I liked the most so I'm posting SIX pics haha excessive, I know! But she's so purrty  :toothy10:

Note: when I was shopping earlier this year, I asked what body wood I should get.  Cagey and a few others helped me out so I thought I let you guys know that I did decide on a Korina body (and without a maple top).  Thanks!

That is super cool!  :icon_thumright:

What is that bridge? A Gotoh? Schaller? Something else?

Damn, that's nice! I didn't realise by looking at the stock photos that it was such an offset body shape.

That's a handsome axe, nice piece of kit.  Congratulations.  I'm looking forward to seeing your blue-dyed strat come together as well.

Thanks!  It's a Hipshot Tone-A-Matic!

TOM, studs & bushings, and bar is aluminum.  Saddles are steel.  It helped the guitar breathe a little as it was a little congested in the mids and too resonant in the lows before.  Slightly added a crisp texture and slightly faster attack too.  All either subtle or completely imaginary as you know how our musicians brains like to justify upgrade purchases haha.  Looks cool though!

Nonetheless, the guitar is still relatively resonant in the lows so no miracles here.  I do play 13-56 with wound 3rd in C-standard so that's probably the culprit more than anything else.  Nothing EQ can't solve though.

And thanks Axkoa and Bagman!  It's my #1 rhythm guitar.  The Strat will be my cleans & lead #1  :headbanging:

The 1979 edition Ellen Ripley, Oh YEAH!

Favorite movie of all time. Sigourney's gettin' some miles on her now, though...

I read somewhere that since she was an unknown (at the time), she only got $60K to do that movie.

Ripley FTW!

And I don't know what I look like after 37 years...  :binkybaby:  :icon_tongue:  :occasion14:

Ya, even more offset than the ESP LTD Viper. This member's project turned out great and its one really nice looking guitar but for me I would like to have some sort of Gibby type guitar but can't quite live with that much offset. The SG platform is a great option if you don't want the weight and girth of a LP but its a shame the lawyers spring into action over a shape. I keep my eyes peeled for a used white Viper but wonder how it feels in hand balance wise. NorthFace don't make white jackets for men and nobody seems to make white SGs for more than a month every few years.
