Mooncaster Neck/Tele Thinline Body

Hello,
  I was wondering if anyone has used a mooncaster neck on a tele body? Any drawbacks or concerns? Any general comments are good too!
I'm putting together a partscaster, I figure there's no need for it to look just like a Fender.

It's your guitar, so whatever you want is what it should be, just make sure you check that the
Mooncaster has a Tele shaped heel for compatibility with the body. I wouldn't try to stuff a Strat
neck heel into a Tele pocket--you can, however, order a Tele with a Strat pocket. Double check,
measure twice, cut once, etc., etc. Best of luck with the project.

A Strat neck heel will fit a standard Tele neck pocket just fine. Scroll about a third of the way down this page for confirmation from Warmoth.

It does leave gaps though, but as long as you go with a 22 fret overhang fingerboard, they're almost completely hidden.
