Hey all.
I'm back yet again, and I have a question or two. I'm planning on painting a mustang myself. Last time I painted a guitar myself I used Preval cans and mixed my own colors. That was pretty difficult for me, so this time I'm opting to try spray cans.
I'm going for a solid gloss finish in a magenta-ish color similar to the one Tom Delonge had on his Blink 182 strat. Montana has a color similar to what I want, but it's matte. They have a gloss clear coat but I'm not sure if applying gloss clear over a matte color would be a good idea.
Has anyone used them before? A quick Google found mixed reviews in terms of guitar finishing. I've tried emailing their support but they haven't been responsive.
If anyone has any tips for me in terms of the process, or a better suggestion in terms of what paint to use to get that color, I'd appreciate it.
