Mods work!

I know it's been said a million times online....but I just finished modding my blues junior...it sounds incredible! I am so pleased! I got Billm mods, a new speaker and verb tank...I have played lots of custom boutique amps over the last 30 years and this thing sings...it makes my strat sound like a really clear defined and well balanced strat! Seems easy until you hear the right sound for your ears.
Mod verb tank, Celestine g12h 55 8 ohm 30 12" speaker....sweet deal...I know people have mixed feelings about this amp....I'm sold w mods!

New speakers are pretty good mods for blues juniors or any type of amp that's pretty good but still at a low price point.

Also, I've replaced a speaker in a 37 year-old combo, gave it a new lease on life.

I have an original blues junior. I did the billm mods. They are good but the best one was the reverb mod because it killed all the fudging noise. I also have a custom Celestron speaker in it and a replacement reverb tank.

Oh, and I shellacked the tweed. Looks 70 years old now.
