MIXOL Dyes

Does Anyone have any experience Spraying the mixol dyes ? What carrier do you use ? I have read that they can be mixed with about anything, but not sure of the best approach for spraying bursts.

I have mixed (and sprayed) with shellac and water based lacquer. I have also used it in epoxy casting. It didn’t have any adverse effects. It can have some transparency to it, but it is more opaque than a trans-tint or or color tone dye. From my experience anyway.

Thanks for the info ! I don’t want opaque, so maybe should try trans-tint. I also see that Keda makes a liquid dye in addition to the powder I use for wipe on, may try that too.
