Could you mix stains? Like 2 min-wax brand stains together and make sure its good and stirred, or would they stay seperated. I would think they would mix as long as they have the same base. Im looking for a good dark red stain, but Red Mahogany was just brown when it dried, and red oak is red, but not really dark enough. Also, does anyone know how to get a really raw look. I like the look of unfinished (well really uncleared) wood. Is that just a satin finish?
