I have suddenly contractted this sudden idea that I want to build my own version of a VOX Mini XII. So far I'm thinking I would be best off getting a body blank from Warmoth and getting someone to cut the shape for me. My biggest worry at the moment is the neck and getting the scale right.. It would be really great if Iwas able to find some specs on it and maybe Warmoth could build a neck. I know this would be expencive, but I'm fairly inexperienced so a neck would be out of my league, I think.
Have anybody got any experience with these guitars? Are they as cool as they seem? Any ideas on how I could solve this in the best way?
