Mini Switch wiring question.....

Quick question maybe someone can answer me.  Ok I have wired humbuckers with DPDT on/off/on in a series/parallel setup and like the results, the question I have is does anyone know what happens with a DPDT on/on/on switch?  What happens in the center position with it being on?  Do I get a coil splitter this way also?  Anybody done this?  Just curious?  Here is a schematic of how I wire these little buggers

You can wire that switch to a humbucker to go coils in parallel/split/coils in series, but that diagram is isn't great, you'll need the on/on/on toggle, better diagram:

I wired a JBJr in my latest Strat's bridge position, works fine.

The obligatory Seymour Duncan link.  This also shows the series/single/parallel wiring.  When added to the pict that Blue313 posted it makes for hours of entertainment trying to logically figure it all out.
