Mid Boost Circuit Board

Has anybody fitted one of these?  On the Clapton Strat, they rout the guitar out under the scratchplate.  I'm wondering if there might be room in a swimming pool (universal) cavity or inside the rear cavity of a reat touted Strat body.  Does anybody know?

It depends on how big this "Mid Boost Circuit Board" is and how much other stuff is in the various available cavities. For as much room as it looks like a Strat has in it, when fully configured that room gets pretty much used up. Even adding something as small as a 9V battery sometimes requires a separate cavity rout.

I wouldn't say it was small but it is pretty flat.  It needs a battery too but I could put that in a battery box

The Strat tremolo cavity is a perfect place to mount the Clapton mid-boost circuit board if, like Eric, you never use the tremolo.  Make sure the tremolo block is wedged tightly against the body with a wooden block.  As for the battery, the best place is below the pickguard in the control cavity or if there is a swimming pool rout, between the pickups.  I have done this many times for people who likes the booster capabilities but not taking off wood from their prized guitars.

For the battery, I could put a battery box in the back couldn't I

I'm not to fussed about a tremolo at all actually.  I'm wondering if I could have a tremolo route but actually fit a hardtail bridge?

How big is the rear route?

I dont like that circuit. The starter relay draws 2 amps. And it gets quite hot after a few minutes. So will think of something else.
