Metal covers for single-coil

Ive always thought that the "Tele neck p.u. cover" would look great on the three strat pickups...
Perhaps Warmoth could negociate with the factory from where they buy it to build some in the bridge strat measures... As far as I searched, the neck tele is like the neck/middle strat...

Chrome/Nickel/Gold and BLACK 
Would be awesome!
Anyone here agree with me or am I alone on this?

In deed would this affect the tone?

It's plastic ones

Plastic covers shouldn't affect tone... metal covers WILL.  They will strip off highs.
