Messing around, some Bari-Blues

I don't fancy myself a blues player in the least bit.
I do love the blues however.
The Baritone-Tele just asked for it, so I do my best to give it to her, despite my being a metal player first.

But, then again, the whole reason that I built this was to force new licks out of me.
By the way, it's a GFS Neovin TN7 in the neck, Custom hand wound humbucker in the bridge.  Rutgers, angled control plate, which is the "corrected" control plate for a Tele as far as I'm concerned.

The first time I saw that control plate I was smitten. When Max built his super sexy tele he used one. Shortly after that I went and ordered one. Not sure why. I'm not really a tele fan. Especially back then. Years later I find myself in the process of building a guitar around that damn plate. I've got all the bits and pieces, just need a neck.

Wow, awesome seeing you and the BariTele in action.
That's some killer sound you've got  :icon_thumright:

Let me hazard a guess; B, E, A, D, F#,B, ie a fourth below standard tuning?

Exactly, and this is the range where single coils give the baritone its truest representation in my opinion.

Sounds great! And your deerskin Tele is really a stunner--looks better on you than it does by itself, and ain't that the way it's s'posed to be?!? :icon_thumright:

Well, thank you!

I'm a firm believer, that we "wear" our guitars just like we do our cloths.
