Nice video. Although, I think to illustrate the "Mary Kay" or transparent white, I'd have used a body made of a base wood with some grain features that show its transparency. As it is, it just looks like a slightly different shade rather than an effect. For example...

Good video. It's nice to see the whites together like that. Kevin's right. Showing grain under MK in a video is difficult, at best. You'd almost have to paint grain on it to make it look realistic in the video. But, it does give the idea. Thanks for this one.

One of my favorite showcase experiments was the Mary Kay white on top with alpine white burstover flame maple. They should have made that a regular color, IMO.

Seems like a sinful waste of curly Maple, but it is an interesting effect that you'd probably never see anywhere else.
