Hey everybody, just figured I would throw it out on Unofficial before the masses realize it: we just added a bunch of Unique Choice Flamed Koa LamTops.

You guys should know that this wood has become extremely scarce. Once these tops are gone we don't know how long it will be before we can obtain more. I'm not trying to do a sales-job on you...thems are the facts.

Because of cost and availability of some of these woods, Warmoth should real consider the utilization of the thin veneers as well as the 1/4 tops.  I suspect that many tops are chosen for the appearance  and not the tonal quality.  It can save both $$ and trees.

We already do this. These tops are 1/8" veneers. The only models that get a 1/4" top are the Thinlines.

Those tops are really nice. Keep offering the occasional burl top though, I have this crazy idea a burl top strat would be awesome.
