Great video! I've wondered how much hand work goes into each neck. Now I know. :glasses10:

I could have watched a 30 minutes video on this  :icon_biggrin:

Thanks for the "behind the scene" videos  :icon_thumright:

I love all these videos, and could watch 2-3 a week, easily (but I know they take time to film, edit, etc....I'm no stranger to that world myself). They're like really good, no-filler episodes of "How It's Made". Looking forward to future installments!

Nice to see some upgrades to the process since I left 9 years ago, ie;
Radius processOLD/Swinging arm jig made in house.  NEW/CNC
Sanding of straight headstocks up to nut: OLD/by hand on belt sander, NEW/jig, then automated.
Fret Slot Sawing: OLD/Multiblade jig made in house, NEW/CNC.

Consistency is stepped up notches unknown!!!

Rad.  I've said it before and I'll say it again - your bumper music is pro.  I was waiting to see Joey and Ross after the fade from black.

Also, imagining these fine folks mumbling, "That f'n fdesalvo!" because of my history of near-production order edits.

Thanks man, sincerely. That's high praise, coming from you.

But....if you think the bumper music is pro, just wait. The video currently on deck is a tour of the web department; a very comedic look at our day-to-day pixel-pushing here at Warmoth. Contained within it are two musical parodies I did, and you'll actually get to hear me sing! One is entitled The Final Crapdown. The other is We are the Heroes (My Friend).

It also features cartoon version of the web staff, a laugh track, and assorted other hijinks and shenanigans.

Prepare to be dazzled.  :glasses9:

I shall prepare my undies!  Stoked to see and hear!

Great video! I really enjoy these inside views. I had a different idea of how the necks were radiused; reality is much more practical.

Just curious if they ever go "Wonder what this guy was thinking??!?" or are they numb to harebrained schemes and whacked personal choices being a custom shop where such people turn when they seek their particular itches scratched.

If they have been numbed it is only because I have numbed them.

I mean I'd kinda hope someone might actually think about calling me and say - did you really meant to order 6230 frets? Because the rest of your order looks like it's supposed to be a single humbucker shred machine.

They do need an intervention specialist.  There was this one body I ordered...yikes.

I wouldn't characterize us as "numb". More like "non-judgmental".  :glasses9:
