I just want to say that I got a chance to play one of the proto-types and this is an astounding pedal. I don't like to mention other pedals, but for comparison's sake, it is as juicy sounding as the Boss TR-3 or the Keeley trem o verb, which includes the harmonic trem, but infinitely more tweakable. (The Harmonic Trem setting is fantastic). Even when the speed and depth settings are at 0, with the gain or tone knob, add a touch of sparkle to your tone and you can use it as a boost. (Though I think it even adds sparkle without the gain, it just does something nice to your tone.)
When playing out the tap tempo is right on the money, and you can use an expression pedal to control, the speed and depth, (I use a signal splitter that can give both at the same time or separately) which opens up exploring nuisances you might not usually get to. The wave forms are perfect, and splitting the notes, gives you everything you want. You can make it sound cool, when pushing it to the edges (either slow or fast, especially with the harmonic setting, getting sort of like a Univibe, and controlling the speed with an expression pedal with the harmonic is like wow!).
Also, the controls are intuitive, giving you ready access to all the sounds. There are some pedals out there that give a ton of stuff, but they don't provide ready on the fly access like this one. The layout is so smart and so well thought out.
Everyone needs a tremolo pedal, and this is the one.
