Looks like a cool amp:

http://www.sweet water.com/store/detail/Class5RD

http://www.sweetwiter.com/store/detail/Class5RD

so why is this forum software replacing the "A" in SWEET WATER with an "I" on it's own?

correct link
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Class5RD

this looks like it had promise.  I am not a fan of the Haze 5 with build in effects...they sound synthetic.

Maximilion!

How yah been!?

Thanks for the heads up - like who would need to say that on a guitar building forum anyway?!?!?!?!

Twit... twit? TWIT,TWIT,TWIT,TWIT... FREAKIN TWIT.

Yeah who. Pfffft stupid word, that.

Because the word filters on the forum are poorly written. The 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th letters in that compound word form another word that's not allowed for reasons only a child would appreciate. But, to be fair, writing regular expressions that are sophisticated enough to filter effectively isn't always a trivial task, so it's often not done at all and you get that sort of behavior.

Even though the filter would have changed it... I typed all of those with an I and not an A.

does that make me a wimp?

The best thing in this case would be adding an exception, I think.

Dodging an ill-conceived and poorly implemented censorship tool isn't wimpy. In fact, it can be quite interesting. You have to find ways to say things that aren't otherwise allowed, which is probably good practice anyway. Never know when you might need to compare your boss to the exit end of the alimentary canal without saying it in the vernacular <grin>

Exception handlers are the bane of many a programmer's existence. They create ugly, difficult-to-maintain code, which brings down curses upon your ancestry by subsequent programmers. I'm sure it's the primary reason Windows is such a unstable and insecure house of cards. It's been patched to death hundreds of thousands, perhaps even millions of times over, with exception after exception added willy-nilly to solve for bizarre situations that should never have occurred in the first place, or to facilitate backward compatibility with largely obsolete code.

Wow. This thread went off topic in the first post! New record? :toothy12:

But on topic, I've seen that amp too. It's a little bit interesting as I'm researching 5-20W 1x12" tube combos at the moment.

Why anyone would want a t00b Marshall is beyond me... :icon_scratch:

Should stick to PODs and stuff.

:icon_jokercolor:

BTW, this small amp appears to have lots of potential:
