Marko,

sorry, maybe this should have been a PM. Anyway, I found a post of yours on another message board pointing to a replica of Treveo Rabin's strat. http://www.andagain.com/tt_trstrat.html

I remember you asking about my friend's TR strat and the irony is that this IS his guitar! I've played it at his studio.

What they don't say here is that Allen has put in phase switching as well and I think the bridge is tight down with springs so it dosnt move anymore.

Hey Brian, that is fantastic!!
I am still thinking about a replica myself.. only recently I found some close ups of the guitar...(see avatar)

I believe this one is from 'race to witch mountain' recordings

Strats have got to be the most personalized instruments in the world.

There must be millions out there with no two exactly alike.

yeah, you can do so much to them and they take the uncoventional very well.

looks like time for Marko to start a new project!!

Wow! Trevor has a signature Washburn now!!! I wonder if this means he will take a break from movies and start touring again!

also... 4 years later and I still haven't made a Rabin strat replica..:(

INterestingly, it would actually be much easier to make a replica of the Washburn signature axe, it being a more conventional curly-maple-topped doodad. So you can play it that-a-way.  ANd who doesn't need a blue guitar, amiright?
