Greetings. Starting my first build. Just received the parts for a Warmoth short scale J-Bass. It’s beautiful!
I ordered a pair of Duncan Pro Active pickups with the STC2A circuit board. The board is a little bigger than I thought, and the cavity under the control plate is a bit smaller. There will need to be some modification so the board can fit under and beside the pots and jack in this space.
Does anyone have any suggestions for doing this? I’ve seen guitars where someone had hacked away at the insides with a Dremel – looked horrible. I have a router, but it’s a big one and maybe not so suited to this. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
