Here's a shot of my Warmoth Jazz Tele :)

Sounds very acoustic, with the midrange of a SG and lightweight like feather...

Pickups are Di-Marzio PAF PRO

Cheers

Nice job! I like it!

I'm curious about that bridge/tailpiece - what's going on between the 2nd/3rd strings?

I think it's a screw to lock down a movable saddle just for those strings, which I reckon might overcome the problem of not being able to adjust intonation on a standard wraparound bridge.  I seem to remember seeing something like that before.

That would make sense. I was thinking maybe it was a different kind of B-Bender sort of thing, but the bridge mounting and so forth seemed to argue against that. Plus, you'd think he'd mention a non-trivial feature like that.

I think stew mac sells those bridges, they are Wilkinson? And I like the covers too! Something about Gibson features on teles always gets me revved up.

Very nice.  I really dig the wraparound bridge.  I prefer lots of pickguard, but I'm in the minority here.

Good lookin' girl you have there. I like the lack of chrome pickup cover on the bridge.

Axrus won't export to the US from UK due to customs issues.
I already contacted them when I was having my Bari-Twang Humbucker wound.  That's the cover I originally wanted.

They're just making up excuses. I talked to Thoman a while back, and they have no problem shipping here. I recently sent a neck there, no problem. Also, some hardware. Great Britain is one of the more US-friendly places you can deal with. The only problem from a customer point of view is the currency exchange - the dollar vs. the pound is always way out of whack. The problem from a vendor point of view is filling out the paperwork. We can ship things back and forth pretty easily, but it's not quite as simple as just paying for postage. You have to fill out a form, and that takes the transaction out of automatic mode and into manual mode, which is pricey. Stinkin' humans have to get involved.

Thanks so much Cagey, I'll have to persue that again.  I was very dis-appointed with the response when I inquired with them.
I'll have to dig up the email to find out who sent me that response.

Else - I can order them next time I buy from AxesRus and then send them to you. If you can wait on that?

I'm in Denmark and I have bought from AxesRus several times (we are both EU - so happy days).
