First Post, First Warmoth.

Body is a custom Mahagony Jazzmaster, 2-P90 pickup routes.

Neck is a showcase item, birds eye maple, rosewood fretboard.  Very excited to get started.

Very nice pieces you have there.  What's the finishing plan?


I always love getting a box from Puyallup - it's like Christmas in (whatever month that isn't late December).

I'm already half way there actually, but I'll post all that the build threads later on.

The body is going to be a "TV" Sonic Blue using a modified technique I found for making TV Yellow.  The mahagony is sprayed with the Sonic Blue nitro, then you use Polyacrylic as a sealer/grain filler.  That is where I am now.  If I pull off the finish to glass, it will look really, really cool.

The neck I will put my own logo on the headstock that I had designed, and the head will match the body in Sonic Blue.  the back of the neck will be finished with Tru-Oil.

I have a pair of Tonerider Vintage P90's to put in it, and I am going to be using a blend knob, one volume, one tone and a jack on the pickguard.
