Yeh those UPS guys are cool, they bring me stuff like that too once in a while.

Is that a scalloped neck?  and maybe its just the picture, is there pickup routes there or not?

It's swamp ash on swamp ash routed for single coils.  I'll be using fender noisless pups.  The neck is full scalloped 59 lp contour quarter sawn maple with stainless frets.  I will finish it with clear satin nitrocellulose laquer.  It is exactly as ordered and if it sounds as good as it looks....

Never seen a scalloped neck on a tele, especially a hollow. That's a cool guitar you're going to build I'll say.
