I have to say that in all my years buying/trading gear there aren't many moments that I remember being as satisfying as placing my first Warmoth order. To be honest, there is a slight "I hope I like this thing when it's all said and done" feeling, but very minor and mostly excitement.
I've realized from reading on this forum that many of you have done multiple Warmoth builds. For those who have a number of them in the bag, how do you recall the feeling of ordering/building your first Warmoth? Has the excitement stayed or changed over the course of multiple builds?
To those curious I ordered a mahogany strat with flamed maple top and a roasted maple neck (10" - 16" and SS 6100 frets). Will have an HH config and the new Wilkinson WVS1302P bridge outfitted with their locking saddles. The original plan was to do a floyd rose build, love my 80's rock, but already have a couple guitars with them and wanted to try something slightly different. Figure this will give me a lot of versatility but in a single locking setup.
