LP toggle switch wiring question

I got this idea the other day, on a guitar with 2 humbuckers, would it be possible to wire a standard 3-way LP toggle switch to get the following combinations:

1. Bridge humbucker in series
2. Neck humbucker in series
3. Neck humbucker in parallel

I like the idea to have the 'clean sound' (you know  :icon_jokercolor:) not in the middle, as usual, but at one of the sides. But I'm not sure if this would be possible to get with just the toggle switch, perhaps you'd need to do some further wiring?

Thanks :)

Not possible with a SPDT center-on.You need two poles for series/parallel switching on the neck pickup, and then one or two poles for pickup selection, depending on the switching pattern used. This can be done with a four pole rotary toggle switch, however. One pole to select the bridge pickup, one pole to select the neck pickup, and two poles for series/parallel switching of the neck pickup.

Thanks for the replies!

Ok. Hm... Considering the standard wiring on a LP with 3-way switch (1. Bridge series 2. Bridge and neck 3. Neck series), would it be possible to get some kind of 'split tone' (anything but wiring the humbucker in series, that is) or something in the middle (pos 2.), instead of both pickups?

I really wish someone would produce a switch that would fit into the standard Gibson toggle hole, and look the same, but underneath was a DP3T switch.

Allparts or StewMac or someone sells a SP3T Gibson style toggle. Note that there is the possibility of using a relay, or set of relays, with a single pole switch, if you can arrange for the DC power required, and don't have issues with noise.
