Loose neck

something I read on a guitar builder's site, but can't find it back right now.

after he strings up his guitars, he always loosens the neck screws a little, and then tighten it again. so the neck settles in place.
I can't remember how much though, so don't do it

I got the link once from Max.. about a guy who made tele's out of old barn doors or something... Max, find it.. quick.
