Greetings from the North Cape, way up North in Norway, the most northern point in Europe. I’m on vacation here on the Hurtigruten cruise, for my wife’s birthday.
Amazing scenery.

All the best to all Warmothians from Magnus, aka Logrinn

Very cool photo. Hope your vacation, and your wife's birthday, are the best.

Thanks R.  :occasion14:
The vacation is spectacular and her birthday is still a couple of days away.

That looks like a great adventure to be on.  One of the great long-term hopes of my life is to make it to the ancestral homeland of Denmark, and thence northward to greater Scandinavia.  I have always been fascinated by the Arctic.  I am envious of your travels.  Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Ian  :occasion14:
Should you ever happen to come to Denmark, be sure to let me know. I live in the south of Sweden very close to Denmark. I try to visit Copenhagen as much as I can (lot’s of cool music stores there), and could show you some cool places to visit.

@Rick - Indeed. I’ve never been this far north before. I had an idea of it being very could and snowy, but so far it’s been very mild and sunny weather.
And what scenery. Hurtigruten is supposed to be on of the most beautiful cruises in the world and I’m sure that’s true.
I heard Tolkien got inspiration for his books from these areas.

I just got home from a week in Aarhus for work and a day of sightseeing. Very beautiful place that I hope to get back to sometime soon.

I’ve only passed through Aarhus, but would like to visit it again and check it out some more. Denmark is really nice. I’ll be going to Copenhagen this saturday by the way.

Oh, and TC Electronic’s HQ is in Aarhus. Another reason to visit it someday  :occasion14:

Never been to Europe myself, but my son just returned from a business trip to Gothenburg. He said it's really beautiful there. Unfortunately he was only there for 2 days, and in meetings almost the entire time, so all he really got to see was the inside of the Ericsson engineering offices!

That's too bad, but pretty common among business travelers. Back when I did it a lot, everybody I knew thought it had to be great to be going so many places, but the reality was I rarely got to see much but the inside of factories, engineering offices, hotels and airports.

That's awesome Magnus! Stay warm up there!

My wife is on a cruise right now too, sailing through Glacier Bay, Alaska today.

And where am I, while all the beautiful people are out enjoying the scenic, northernmost parts of the world?  :icon_scratch:

Magnus Plus the Missus. Congrats, have fun.
(Probably a little funnier if you say it like an American trying his best to say it like a native speaker. Rhymes with Linus)

Outstanding photo, Steve.  :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:
Thanks! That was one of the few semi-sunny moments of the entire week. Still a lot of water vapor in the air to kinda kill the contrast as you look further out.
