Excellent point, Volitions. I thought it humorous when I considered selling my expensive Marshall DSL401 when all I was doing was playing though it's clean channel. My Pod is set to the JCM800 and I thought, "I'm playing with the Pod's Marshall tone through a Marshall amp."

I have one of these. While I think some criticisms of the Pod gear in general are justified ("it's not the same as a tube amp", etc.), it's still a fantastic piece of equipment. It sounds good through a decent midrange set of monitor speakers for sure, and the more familiar I'm getting with it the better sounds I'm working out.
