Let's see some Warmoth T Styles

Blue shell is a representation of a hellish inescapable labyrinth where a Minotaur relentlessly hunts you.
Yeah, well, that's exactly what I had I mind when I build it! I was very inspired by the famous ancient greek depictions of Minotaurs relentlessly hunting potatoes through labyrinths, as found on countless temples.

Instead of posting pictures, I will just link to the guitar and you don't click on the link @Spud , ok?

The images found in the following link might be disturbing for people sensitive to the horrors (?) of blue shell pickguards - especially potatoes!!!

Enter at your own risk! 👉LINK👈

I have to say this: I have seen that pickguard material as an option and always thought “WTF?!” But I see now that in proper context it is actually very attractive and intriguing. That is a beautiful guitar 👍🏻

These threads sometimes feel like an intervention 😉 but here we go:

The “Hendrix Alternate Universe”

The Chartreuse Flake Esquire (Marty Bell finish)

The still unfinished Steve Morse Frankentele/EBMM Mashup… I really need to finish this but I’ve kind of lost all passion for the project after I nicked the finish installing the tailpiece.

HODGO…….you need to stare at my post deeply………..you are getting sleeeepy .. you find you have a deep desire to immediately ship your esquire to Spud…….

Go forth and do a light relic or something and get the build and build thread updated. Embrace the nick, nil desperandum.
Oh, I know. And then it’s cutting the pickguard - I already snapped one blank - and drilling the grounding hole for the tailpiece cause the bridge has nylon saddles… not to mention I still gotta do all that soldering… excuses excuses I am aware.

Those are Bill Lawrence (wildepickups) T48 (B) and L45 (N) which is more Strat based. I have zero other Tele experience, so can't say how they compare to other Tele pups, but I like the tones quite a bit.

Believe it or not, in using an EVH 50w 6L6 5150 head, the bridge pup using the "red" channel with the gain at between 3-4 sounds killer for very heavy tones. They sound great clean as well.

I understand completely. Shipping can be prohibitive, hence your hesitation. However, I can work with just the body. Hurry!!
Aren’t you up here in the PNW with me? If so it’s not the shipping, it’s that I don’t wanna

But big shout out to Marty - all I did was ship him the lightest body Warmoth had in the showcase. It got to him a few days later and he had it in the mail a week after that. Not cheap, but WOW is it sparkly. My wife says it hurts to look at directly.

I am just pulling your leg, it is very cool though!
