Hey, kids -
Remember that amazing time when Warmoth used to make Les Paul-shaped bodies, before Henry Jooskewigglewicz and his gang of intrepid IP lawyers got all shirty with Warmoth and sent a cease-and-desist? Well, you can relive those glory days by buying this abso-freakin'-lutely beautiful guitar body. This is a koa-on-mahogany LP Special (meaning flat-topped, not carved), finished in glorious gloss nitrocellulose lacquer by yours truly. 2 humbuckers, standard LP controls. There are a couple dings but nothing that can't be repaired. There is a ding on the face of the body that I could not steam back out in the form of a 3/4-inch-long ding about as wide as a ball-point-pen line running from the left bridge stud hole toward the other. It's covered when the bridge is installed, but I was unable to repair it when I somehow managed to bang it during finishing.
There is a subtle amount of flame in the koa top, but it's not outrageously fancy. You can sort of see it on the right and left sides of the neck pickup.
I'd like to see $300 for this body, shipped in the USA. If you want to combine with the neck I have posted, we'll talk.
No sales to non-USA buyers, sorry, gang. Nigerian princes and egregious lowballers will be cheerfully invited to go have intercourse with themselves.
If requested, I can pull the bridge and stoptail studs, or I can include a black bridge and tailpiece at the buyer's request for an additional $25.
