I have decided am going down the electric 12 path myself now using a JM body like the original
i dont think my neck would stand a double neck but geez i cant wait to see this.

On those waterslide decals, some I've bought were trimmed.  Others weren't.  I didn't notice it until it was wet (no dirty jokes please).  $10 down the drain, or garbage.

Believe it or not, this is related to this thread.

So, I was looking for an Alder board.  Not very big, but it had to be Alder for several reasons.  I happened upon a local shop called KJP select hardwoods.  Noting that it was close to work, I went in during lunch.  The outside was a bay in an industrial warehouse, so I was not really expecting much.  Then I walked inside...

Holy Crap!  These guys have wood!  Big slabs of exotic hardwood!  Brazilian black walnut large enough for a desktop!  Wenge billets big enough to carve an entire guitar out of one piece!  Purple heart, birdseye maple, king wood, Indian rosewood - every hardwood you've ever heard of.  Stacks and stacks of the stuff.  They even had curly Purpleheart (which is quite wild).

and yes, they had a little Alder board for me.  More on this board later ...:icon_jokercolor:
