I got mine direct from the source, Ancient Kauri 600mm x 400mm x 50mm ,
might do a couple of guitars. Now its off to buy a new band saw and a drop router haha.

I said i live in Australia so we are cousins us and the Kiwis lol got an initial price yesterday so i asked for details to pay them but havent heard back yet. Looking at getting a few more by the looks of it just want to check the quality of the 1st slab.

Maybe you could swap him some exotic Bazilian timber for it  :laughing7:

I kinda like the wood... I just hate everything else about the design. There is little worse than single-coil pup mounting rings, to me. All asymetrical... ugh

Just recieved a reply from New Zealand and the cost to me shipped is about $100US for Ancient Kauri
so its as much to ship as it is for the timber.
