I have a custom unfinished Birdseye maple neck from Warmoth and have ordered Aged Nitro Lacquer and Vinyl Sealer from Stew Mac. I would like to accent the Birdseye and produce and aged look. Should I not use the sealer and start with the Aged Lacquer to allow the color to soak into the maple and accent the grain? Or Should I seal then apply the Lacquer?

The order would be to use the vinyl sealer and then the aged lacquer. The aged colour is in the lacquer and does not need to soak into the maple like an oil.
