What are you guys using for your L5-S guitars? I need a case for my L6-S but the prices are getting outrageous!

My guitars tend not to leave the house much; when carrying my L5S out, I use my ES-335 case and stick a towel on top of the body so there's no room for it to rattle around.

a L5s is basically a 335 ?

Not at all, but the widest part of the body is too wide to fit into a Strat/Tele/LP type case, but WILL fit into an ES-335 case. It's not an exact fit, hence the need to stuff a medium sized towel on top of the body.

For anyone else wanting a great case for less than the vintage stuff on ebay:

www.cedarcreekcases.com

They're the distributor/associate with TKL who makes all of Gibson and Martin's cases.

This one is gonna run me about $295. That's right in line with the cost of a used one on the bay.

TKL makes the cases for the semi-hollow and hollow Gibsons.

Canada Case Co makes the solid body cases.  <-- not perfectly sure on the name of that company, but its close

I know this because I've gotten parts from TKL and they explained the differences in hardware used to make sure I had TKL parts I was trying to match.
