Figured I'd put this in it's own thread since the "Claw One Piece Mahogany Tele" thread just doesn't apply to this project anymore!

Here's a "Mock Up" of what I'm actually going to put together!

- 1989 Kramer “Claw” Rosewood Neck w/Original Black Schallers & OFR R2 Nut/String Retainer

- NOS 2007 Allparts Tobacco Burst 2 Piece Ash Body w/Flame Maple Top

- 1978 DiMarzio SDS1 SC to Gibson 500K Vol/“Dummy” Tone/Fender TBX/Fender “SRV” Pickguard - or - New Warmoth Black Gloss PG w/Rio Grande Genuine Texas/Duncan Twang Banger/Rio Grande BBQ "F"

- 1986 Floyd Rose Original Black Germany w/“Hoockey” Brass Block & Screw In Arm

Looks good, it really does, but the SRV is just out of place...I'm just sayin'.... :dontknow:

I don't understand the SRV pickguard - maybe if you were doing a replica, which I get, but that's just me.  Nice colors.

I was contemplating going the HSH Route with Rio Grande Genuine Texas Neck/Duncan Twang Banger Mid/Rio Grande BBQ F Spaced Bridge...but I still had the SRV PG from my Warmoth Candy Tangerine SRV and had been missing the DiMarzio SDS1 Set Up...additionally...I'm a big SRV Fan!

That's cool, I'm a huge SRV fan too, his birthday is sunday, and I'm going on the 16th annual SRV memorial ride in Dallas sunday. But it just doesn't fith with the Kramer thang. But if you like it that's all that matters... :icon_thumright:

I think it looks great, I love the pick guard, and after all, it is your axe, grind it how you like it. You will be playing it.

Thanks for the kind words. I know the "SRV" Pickguard throws some people off, but I am a big SRV Fan and just decided to take the best parts I could get and put this thing together...so...it is def a "contraditions of styles"...but damn...(IMHO) it looks hot and hopefully, it's going to play equally as hot!
