KNS 6-String is officially launched!

Is the universal route really an option?
Edit 2 minutes later ... it disappeared!!! must have been an artifact from looking at strat bodies.
That's a sharp looking guitar

Kramer Ned Stienberg?

I just realized this is also giving me Nuno N-1 vibes. There certainly seems to be enough material up top for an off-menu upper horn toggle in the LP position, I’ve never asked about something on the right side of the pickups though.

Upper toggle is Tele only, booooo.

The man literally called it a "Killer New Six-string" body in the first couple of minutes, and then asks us to guess what KNS stands for. For shame, Aaron. For shame.

Jokes aside, congrats on the release, I absolutely love it when bass bodies get translated to guitars.

I'm not Aaron, but I can only imagine that it would feel exactly the same other than the two extra frets. How else could it be different?
A 24 fret neck is useless on a Strat or Tele Body. On a Soloist it’s decent. This has a blunt lower cutaway. I’m asking if he thinks the last 2 frets are useful or if they are beyond easy access.

I agree with you on that one, for sure.

This has a blunt lower cutaway.

I'm not sure what you mean by "blunt". The cutaway looks very similar to the Soloist to me. If anything, the KNS appears to be even a bit more slim near the neck pocket. The depth of the cutaway seems pretty close to one another.

Nobody is listening to the notes played on the 23rd and 24th frets, anyway. Just joking (but, not really :D ).

Ha!

Mostly looking at aesthetics. The modern guitar usually are 24 fret guitars. I agree for those 3 times a year I want a high E bending the 22 fret is fine. Also the 24 fret neck is a little clearer as well.

Just need to drill yourself!

Aaron, how do you think it would feel with a 24 fret neck?

I have not tried a neck with a 24 fret extension on a KNS6 body yet, but my gut tells me it will feel very similar to one on a Soloist body. Which is to say: it feels better than one does on a Strat or Tele (thanks to the deeper cutout), but still not as comfortable as a "native" 24 fretter.

Excellent, thanks!

It also seems like it would work well with a Baritone neck since that upper horn it pushed out decently far.
