Kloppmann Pickups anyone??

I have heard the sound bytes but never used them personally
I am not surprised, with today's technology, the fact you can buy a winding machine relatively cheap, set up a web business cheap, and face it the cost to buy parts for pickups is not a multi million dollar investment. I am really surprised there are not pickup companies sprouting from the wood work.
Go for it and give us a review.

Sorry to resurrect such an old post, but I wanted to say that you can purchase Kloppmann pickups from Diffusion Audio in Canada http://www.diffusion-audio.com/xcart/Andreas-Kloppmann-AlNiCo-Single-Coils-Stratocaster.html (there actually is no USA distributor to my knowledge). These things sound incredible. Check out the sound bytes on the Kloppmann site http://www.kloppmann-electrics.de/en/pickups/strat/, and read his history of how he came to study pickups and make them.
