The forum's very own TroubledTreble, proprietor of Roadhouse Pickups, is mentioned in the September issue of Premier Guitar magazine.  They did an article on 6 lesser known vintage pickups and mention Ken's reproductions that he reverse engineered.

I'm happy to see him get this publicity.  He is a helpful member of the boards here and is a pleasure to deal with if you want to purchase his hand made pickups (which are VERY reasonably priced).

That is too cool...
I have two sets of Roadhouse pickups and they are definitely among my favorites.
Can't say enough good words about Ken!  He is a genuinely nice person and aims to please.
If you haven't tried his pickups, ya gotta check em out.  Have not heard of any dissatisfied customers.

Good for Ken! He certainly deserves the attention. He makes great pickups.

Though I don't own any of his pickups, I have talked to him recently and he is a very great and polite guy. Glad to see him getting some well-deserved attention!

Wow, thank you everyone. I have not seen the article yet but have been looking for it to come up. I haven't checked the mailbox yet for the issue either. Dwight, did you see this online or hard copy?

I've just built a guitar specifically for these which is at paint right now. I made it from a W blank and a paddle head neck. Will post when done. :icon_thumright:

Thank you all for your support and encouragement!

There are some more things in the works. Some of you may have caught this and others like it.

Also this: about 2:15 in (there are others similar as well)

I saw the print copy.  As a subscriber I have access to the online version as well, but couldn't easily figure out how to access it when I initially posted.

Congratulations!  Where can we check out these pickups (roadhouse.com?)
Thanks....

If you're in the Las Vegas area, I have a guitar with a pair of Roadhouse P90's I'll let you testdrive.
