Hello, I thought I should show people on this forum what I'm made of so that people don't think I'm just some jerk trying to sell stuff in the classifieds. I'm a passionate woodworker and guitar builder. Here are some cool pictures of a couple of the girls. The funky shaped one I built in 1996 and was entitled the "Skeksi" because it looked like something from a Jim Henson movie. The second is my 8 year old rockabilly baby...baby. The first has a double expanding truss rod supplemented by carbon fiber rods. The rockabilly guitar is a thru-neck comprised of seven layers with five independent carbon fiber rods with no truss rod! Its like a rock, only its more like mahogany. the top is solid rosewood and the skunk stripes on the back are rosewood as well. You like em'? :) I'll contribute more to people in need of advice as time goes on. Thanks for looking!

Thanks man. I built it entirely from one giant mohog beam my father bought from a farmers auction in the mid eighties here in northern Vermont. It literally had 40-50 years of curing before I finally got my hands on it. You cannot find wood of this quality anymore unless it is reclaimed. The rosewood actually goes clean through and the back was glued up with a pressure pin system similar to joining a acoustic soundboard. It sounds better than it looks but my friend who is a machinist is making me a solid aluminum bridge with a slot for a graphtech saddle to improve the tone and tremolo response. Someday I'm going to take the time and run some cream binding around it but for now I wont mess with it.
