Just placed my order for new tubes to go in my old Blues Deluxe: http://torresengineering.stores.yahoo.net/bfotusetfory.html

:toothy10:  :toothy12: :hello2:

I might be ordering a speaker later on as well.  Haven't decided though.  I'm trying to spend the Christmas money in the most useful way.

UPDATE:  I just ordered a Digitech Whammy and a Dunlop Fuzz Face.  Also, I picked up a cheap used Big Muff yesterday from the local shop.  Yay pedals!

I got some matched JJ's from these guys at Eurotubes for my Blue VooDoo. These guys are cool as can be, and are the shit when it comes to help with tube amps... :headbang1:

But nice purchase, Toobs are cool... :icon_thumright:

I have the Big Muff Pi, bass fuzz. It is the sole pedal in my rig. I dig its vintage tone. If your pedal has a dry mix feature, be sure to check it out. I like my dry signal mixed with with the effects post eq. It sounds clean for a second and then crunchy/fuzzy. Big Muff makes good stuff, nice pick.

I got the regular Big Muff Pi.  They had a Double Muff there too, but I thought I'd stick with the classic.

i got this in the mail yesterday:

Graph Tech String Saver Originals to match my tusq xl nut.

Hey Hannaugh,

After you're through putting the new tubes (please bias them) and the speaker, I'd suggest doing a cap job on that little amp.

I will be biasing them.  Apparently the set I got comes with full instructions.  How do I do a cap job/what is a cap job?  I'll do it!

Having one of these is a plus.... :icon_biggrin:

The Weber's are, but I bought the yellow one from Cen-Tech, they're like 10 bucks. The tube plug set was a bit more, I think in total it cost me like 30 bucks....

Celestion Vintage 30 is what I'm looking at.

You might want to consider getting a WGS Veteran 30. Sounds like a slightly improved Celestion Vintage 30, but can typically be had for $69 just about anywhere, while the Celestion is gonna run you $140-$150. The WGS parts get great reviews everywhere, even on The Gear Page, where brand snobbery is practically a religion. I've got one here, and love it. Coupled with a Delta Pro 12A, both in 1x12 cabinets, I get everything I could want.
