Just had a great music store experience

I was looking for string ferules and a set of electric 12 strings, and to be honest I was not holding my breath that a local shop would have them.  And after all the crap I had to endure at Long and McQuade, I decided to give a different place a try:  St John's music.

St. John's is one of those places that sells band instruments, pianos, and sheet music.  And guitars/amps.

I walked in, and was immediately impressed.  They didn't have tonnes of stuff, but what they had was good.
I went to the counter, asked for what I needed, and the guy had them in front of me in under 30 seconds.  He knew exactly what I was talking about and got it done.

So, if you're in ottawa, give these guys a try.  I did and walked away happy.

That's good to hear.  I'm often saddened by the state of retail, and especially music stores.
