Just a cool idea, in my opinion, a tele build based off an old wooden,  worn, graffiti covered picnic table you  would find in a park. Maybe I can get Warmoth to donate a tele body they deem unsalable to me because of flaws so I can start my own!  :laughing7:

That's an interesting idea. The guy in that thread did a pretty good job of it. You could build your own with recycled lumber for a minimal investment.

I know a local music store owner who runs the store out of his house, which is on a main street in a local small town.  He took an old strat body and screwed it to the fence along with about 20 other misc bodies.  He pulled it off of the fence after about 6 years, gave it several weeks to dry out, slapped a few stickers on it, and assembled a "relic'd" guitar out of it.  Came out great.  Not sure that I would do the same, but it was relic'd over "time" rather than with a rasp...
