I'm opposed to sticking big pictures on the front page.  I don't want to have to scroll past them all the time.  I think it's worth a sticky thread though...

Seriously, I can't stand having a bunch of stickies on a forum, because you have to scroll past them constantly. This is especially irritating when you post from your iPhone.
Furthermore, i never notice any new postings to sticky threads because i make the habit of skipping past them to the regular postings.

I think it would be best to start a new new section in the gallery subforum for guitar-of-the-month postings.
We could do all of the nominations, voting, and winning in that forum.

On Talkbass, they force you to view the avatar of the latest supporting member.
I can't stand being forced to view an image that i don't want to see and having no control over it.
I would rather avoid having any image pop up on everything i do on this forum.
If you guys want to have it only viewable on the front page of the forum, and not follow to every subforum and thread, that would be ok.

I've never been aboe to find the Guitar of the Month image, maybe something on my pc is blocking it thinking it's an ad or something.
