Finally had time to start the assembly of this project. Specs:
Body (custom order):
Swamp Ash Jazzmaster, top-routed
Jazzmaster neck pickup
Telecaster bridge pickup and bridge route
Strat top jack route
Barden compensated Tele bridge
Neckplate by Doug (given a similar blackening treatment as Patrick from Davis' "Bill the Cat" neckplate.)
Neck (showcase):
Indian Rosewood/Indian Rosewood Strat neck, modern construction
59 Roundback profile
MOP dots
SS6150 frets
Black Graphtech nut
Open gear Hipshot grip-lock tuners
Electronics :
SD Quarter pound Jazzmaster neck pickup
SD Quarter pound Tele bridge pickup with factory tapped option
On/On switch to control tap
4-way pickup selector (bridge, parallel, neck, series)
Switchcraft mono jack
One volume, One tone
There's one serious dilemma that's come up, I ordered a black pickguard, and a tortoise shell pickguard, and I honestly can't decide between the two...
Hopefully I figure it out soon.
